Amazon Prime members can save $1 per gallon on fuel this weekend.
This one-time offer is valid for up to 35 gallons of gasoline or diesel.
Normally, Amazon Prime members receive a discount of 10 cents per gallon of fuel.
Amazon is preparing to announce a new Prime Day event on July 8, but they are already starting with several early promotions. While many of these offers are on Amazon devices like Echo voice assistants and Fire tablets, the company is also providing a substantial fuel discount.
From July 3 to July 6, Amazon Prime members can save $1 per gallon at over 7,500 BP, Amoco, or AMPM locations. The maximum amount of fuel eligible for this discount is 35 gallons, resulting in a total savings of $35.

This offer represents a significant discount, especially considering the national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.16. With Prime, the price drops to $2.16 for the holiday weekend.
Although Prime members usually save 10 cents per gallon, this new promotion is likely to attract a lot of attention. However, first-time users at the pump should be aware of a few requirements.
To access the discount, you must log into your Amazon account and link it to BP’s Earnify rewards program. Then, you can locate a participating station and fill up while benefitting from this considerable discount. Like most rewards programs, users will need to provide their phone number or use a linked payment method.
Amazon is leveraging this promotion to showcase the lesser-known Prime benefit that can save members an average of $70 annually on fuel. It also highlights their four-day sale, which promises “millions of deals across more than 35 categories.”
