The Defender OCTA Black boasts up to 30 exterior accents available in either satin or gloss black.

Inside, it features ebony semi-aniline leather seats complemented by distinctive fabric materials.

      Powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8, it generates 626 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.

Land Rover launched the rugged Defender OCTA last year and is now broadening the range with a new blackout variant, the OCTA Black, which includes up to 30 exterior parts in satin or gloss black.

On the outside, this model showcases a Narvik Black finish, described as the "truest black" in the Defender color palette. While the standard version has a glossy look, buyers can opt for a matte protective film for the SUV.

In addition to that, the vehicle features satin black powder-coated skid plates, satin black recovery hooks, and a gloss black exhaust system with four tailpipes. The design also incorporates a black grille and dark silver "Defender" badging.

Customers have the option of 20- or 22-inch wheels, finished in gloss black, both equipped with black center caps and supported by a braking system that includes gloss black calipers.

The dark motif carries into the interior where almost everything is deep black. This includes a satin black powder-coated cross bar beam, black controls, and a black steering wheel. An optional "chopped carbon fiber" finish is also available for those who desire it.

The ebony semi-aniline leather seats come with Kvadrat accents, providing a "soft and tactile finish" to the sporty seats, which feature unique perforations and stitched details on the backrests.

Similar to the standard model, the OCTA Black is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine producing 626 hp (467 kW / 635 PS) and 553 lb-ft (749 Nm) of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 3.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

The OCTA Black also benefits from recent upgrades made to the 2026 Defender, which include enhanced lighting units, a larger 13.1-inch infotainment system, and a variety of new colors and finishes.
