Once These Are Depleted, Jaguar's V8 Will Be Gone Permanently | Carscoops

Jaguar's last V8-powered SUV is now available in Australia, with a production limit of only 60 units, featuring exclusive characteristics, and signaling an upcoming transition to all-electric vehicles.

Jaguar will manufacture 60 units of the F-Pace SVR 575 specifically for the Australian market.

This model marks the final Jaguar SUV equipped with the 567 hp supercharged V8 engine.

Notable features include carbon trim, a panoramic roof, a customized cover, and 22-inch wheels.

Over the past year, fans of Jaguar have had a lot to take in, from a controversial rebranding to the company's decision to shift to electric-only vehicles following a brief pause in production. Internal combustion models have already been removed from Europe and the UK, though in certain markets, a brand-new F-Pace SVR 575 Ultimate Edition featuring a powerful supercharged V8 is still available.

The SVR 575 Ultimate Edition debuted globally in May 2024, as part of Jaguar’s final production run of the F-Pace, alongside the 90th Anniversary Edition. Jaguar has now announced that 60 units of the SVR 575 will be made exclusively for Australia.

The F-Pace SVR 575 Ultimate Edition boasts a fortified version of Jaguar’s 5.0-liter supercharged V8, generating 567 hp (423 kW / 575 PS) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. This enables it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4 seconds, with a top speed of 286 km/h (178 mph). Quite impressive for a luxury SUV on its final run.

      Limited Colors, Maximum Drama

Customers can select from four exterior colors: Sorrento Yellow Gloss, British Racing Green Gloss, Icy White Gloss, and Ligurian Black Satin. Each model is equipped with the Black Exterior Pack, 22-inch alloy wheels, and Ultimate Edition badges on the fenders.

Inside, the SVR 575 is packed with standard features like a head-up display, sliding panoramic roof, carbon fiber trim, and heated and ventilated Ebony Semi-Aniline leather performance seats with 14-way adjustability. Jaguar also provides a custom car cover for protecting the SUV against the unpredictable Australian climate.

The performance SUV's final iteration can be ordered in Australia with a starting price of AU$197,033 (US$128,000). As previously mentioned, production in this market will be constrained to just 60 units, so potential buyers should act quickly before Jaguar transitions to an EV-only brand later this year.

While the F-Pace SVR 575 Ultimate Edition serves as the farewell to the SVR series, it won’t be the last F-Pace seen on Australian roads. The F-Pace 90th Anniversary Edition is still available, featuring the less powerful P250 (gasoline) and P400e (PHEV) powertrains.

In the United States, Jaguar's entire lineup of gasoline-powered and hybrid vehicles is now limited to existing inventory, which includes the full F-Pace range, the E-Pace SUV, I-Pace crossover, F-Type sports car, and XF sedan.
