This unique Demon features a Cream Sickle paint job, making it the only one of its kind.

Originally priced at $162,836, this vehicle has significantly increased in value. Earlier this year, a Panther Pink Demon 170 Jailbreak was sold for $450,000.

There is no doubt that the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 Jailbreak is and will remain the most sought-after and valuable version of the now-discontinued muscle car. Produced in an extremely limited run of just 40 units and made available solely to a select group of Dodge’s VIP clients, the 170 Jailbreak was not just rare; it was invitation-only rare.

One of these rare machines is currently up for auction, with bids already reaching $400,000 and still a day left, potentially setting a new record.

This specific model was originally given to comedian and actor Kevin Hart, a noted enthusiast with a passion for American muscle cars. His collection already boasts several restomods and classic vehicles, so it’s not surprising he acquired one of these ultra-exclusive Dodge creations.

Like the other 39 Demon 170 Jailbreak owners, Hart received a personal invitation from Dodge to purchase the car. Dodge provided 40 different color options for the 40 cars, with only one example made in each color. Hart’s car is painted in Cream Sickle. The current seller bought the Challenger from Hart for an undisclosed sum, drove it briefly to a gas station, and then parked it at home, accumulating just 24 miles.

The same owner of this Demon 170 Jailbreak also sold another limited-run model a few months ago, which had only 36 miles on it and was painted Panther Pink. That one sold for an astonishing $450,000, despite having an original price of $150,946. Hart’s car had an initial price of $162,836.

In addition to the vehicle, the seller is also offering a carbon fiber rear seat delete panel that has been autographed by Hart. The car comes with a serialized Simpson helmet painted in Cream Sickle featuring Demon graphics.

Under the hood, it retains the legendary Demon 170 specifications, including a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine delivering 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque on E85 fuel. Due to the car's exclusivity and increasing value, it’s likely the next owner won’t be taking it to a drag strip anytime soon; it will probably serve as a trophy in a garage for the foreseeable future.
