Dodge is enhancing the Durango lineup with additional Hemi-powered options for 2026.

These include the Hellcat and an R/T trim featuring a new Blacktop Redline package.

The manufacturer is also reviving Roadkill Nights for its tenth consecutive year.

Few engines attract as much attention as the Hemi, and Dodge is adding to that buzz. The brand is broadening its V8-powered Durango range, which might be surprising if not for the recent speculations surrounding it. Here’s what to anticipate in the 2026 Durango as well as some updates on the tenth annual Roadkill Nights event.

For the new model year, Dodge will offer three primary trim levels of the Durango. The entry-level SUV, known as the GT, will come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine starting at $38,495, but it lacks significant new features. The Blacktop Redline package is available again, adding leather and suede upholstery, a performance hood, and red stitching.

Moreover, the Blacktop Redline package is newly offered on the R/T trim as well. It will add $3,495 to the base price of $49,995. The R/T offers a 5.7-liter V8 engine that has been well-received in this SUV. Furthermore, the Blacktop Redline package includes 20-inch wheels, SRT spoilers, and distinctive fender badging.

The Tow N Go package is returning for 2026, priced at $5,990. It allows for a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds and comes with Brembo brake calipers, exclusive 20-inch wheels, widebody flares, a limited-slip differential, and adaptive damping. Regardless of these packages, Dodge is updating the wheel options for Durango R/T customers. It’s worth noting that the prices do not account for a destination fee of $1,995.

In addition to the GT and R/T trims, the Durango Hellcat will also make a comeback for 2026. Dodge will reveal more information about pricing and additional features later this year, leaving the possibility open that it could have even more power than before.

      Roadkill Nights Returns

Alongside the new Durango details, Dodge confirms the return of Roadkill Nights. This will be the tenth year the company has hosted an event featuring drag races, product launches, a car show, and more in the metro Detroit area. Scheduled for August 9, Dodge has yet to disclose the specific location.

“Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge is celebrating a decade of success thanks to the fans and Dodge enthusiasts who have supported us in droves since it began as a grassroots event in the Silverdome parking lot,” stated Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO.

“Each year, the event grows bigger and better, and with our plans for this year, the tenth edition is set to be the best yet.” This time, Dodge will provide thrill rides in the 670-horsepower Charger Daytona Scat Pack, promising an exciting experience. We will share more details as they emerge.
