The special collection features a Hot Wheels Sakura Sprinter truck adorned with official Honda branding.

The boxed set comprises a Honda NSX-R, Civic Type R, and the S2000 20th Anniversary model.

All three renowned Honda performance vehicles are finished in Championship White.

Pre-orders are currently available online, but prices have risen to almost $65.

If you’re a fan of scale-model collecting or simply enjoy finding something genuinely enjoyable in the toy aisle, there’s a new Hot Wheels release that should catch your attention.

For Honda enthusiasts who appreciate die-cast cars, this forthcoming set is sure to please. Arriving on store shelves later this summer, the three-car collection showcases some of the most iconic performance models from the Japanese automaker. With a starting price just above $30, it’s advertised as an excellent gift or a great addition for anyone looking to enhance their miniature garage. For those eager to secure a set now, pre-orders are available for $64.99.

The standout piece in the set is the 2003 Honda NSX-R. This ultimate version of Honda’s well-known mid-engine supercar was exclusively produced for the Japanese market and featured numerous performance enhancements, enabling it to rival the legendary Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale.

Honda’s design and engineering teams created several new carbon fiber elements for the vehicle and eliminated any components they deemed unnecessary, such as the power steering system. It was also delivered from the factory with Recaro carbon-kevlar seats. The 3.2-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine was optimized and is believed to produce more power than the standard model, despite Honda officially quoting the same 290 hp as in the regular version.

Accompanying the NSX-R in the set is the 1999 Honda Civic Type R, the first version of the beloved hot hatch known as the EK9. It features a high-revving 1.6-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with 182 hp and 118 lb-ft (160 Nm) of torque.

Lastly, there’s a unique Honda S2000. Instead of creating a model of one of the original versions, Hot Wheels has produced a model of the S2000 20th Anniversary edition unveiled five years ago. Originally introduced as a one-off prototype, Honda later offered some of the updated components to owners, including the redesigned front bumper.

All the cars in the Hot Wheels set are painted in Championship White, a color that reflects Honda’s racing heritage. Additionally, the set includes a Honda-branded truck, presumably intended to transport your new miniature fleet from one fictional track day to another.
