The small company is developing a supercar inspired by Stirling Moss with nearly 1,000 horsepower.

Engler Automotive reinterprets the SLR Stirling Moss featuring bold design elements and exhilarating powertrains.

This limited-edition speedster will come with a choice of two V8 engines or an 838 hp V12 engine.

The starting price for the car is €710,000, increasing to €790,000 for later production models.

You may not be familiar with Engler Automotive, but this small firm produces a remarkable quad bike with 1,200 hp, famously known as the Super Quad. They have now revealed designs and intentions to create a modernized version of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss, called the Mosslr. If it goes into production, only 75 units will be made.

Similar to the original, the Mosslr is an eye-catching speedster with clear Mercedes-Benz influences but showcases an even more exotic appearance than the original SLR. The front features a large grille alongside sleek LED headlights positioned above wide air intakes.

The body design of the Mosslr is stunning, displaying curved wheel arches, a seemingly endless hood, and a small wind deflector in front of the cabin. The sides are equally impressive with side-exiting exhausts reminiscent of the original design. Two flying buttresses are located behind the passenger compartment, while the rear includes a curved LED light bar, subtle aerodynamic wings, and a sizable diffuser.

While Engler has yet to reveal the interior, they promise it will be adorned with premium leather. Based on their previous projects, expect a flashy, likely minimalistic, and undeniably luxurious interior.

Two distinct powertrains are being developed. The base model will feature a V8 engine producing 740 hp, and a stronger V8 version with 986 hp is also in the pipeline. Engler claims the base model will reach a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h), while the 986 hp variant will exceed 217 mph (349 km/h). Additionally, a V12 engine with 838 hp is under consideration for those desiring an exceptional sound experience.

The initial pricing for the Mosslr begins at €710,000, approximately $803,000, but this rate is expected to increase. Engler plans to raise the price to €790,000 ($894,000) after the first few units. The timeline is ambitious, with the first unit anticipated to be completed within the next 6 to 9 months, followed by full-scale production shortly after.
