With the abundance of streaming services, satellite radio, and traditional radio, there are plenty of choices available.

We’d like to know what our readers prefer and if they also use any other services.

In-car entertainment has evolved significantly since the Galvin Manufacturing Corporation launched its Motorola-branded car radio in June 1930. Over the years, AM transitioned to FM, the 8-track gave way to the cassette, which was ultimately replaced by the compact disc.

This brings us to today’s question: how do you listen to music in your vehicle? I use several different methods since short drives usually work well with FM radio or Sirius XM satellite radio. However, I’m likely going to cancel my Sirius XM subscription when it expires next month because I prefer music over talk shows, especially when I’m paying for it.

For longer journeys, I rely on Amazon Music as I subscribe to their Unlimited service. Like any streaming platform, it has its pros and cons, but it integrates smoothly with my home life since I have multiple Echo speakers throughout my house.

So, the big question remains: are you clinging to the nostalgia of classic AM radio, or have you embraced streaming services?
