A two-door Honda Fit has been modified to resemble a small DIY Batmobile.
The customized Honda Fit reportedly sold for around $3,400 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
This may be the most eye-catching and peculiar Honda Fit ever created.
If Bruce Wayne ever needed to cut expenses, this could be his vehicle. A heavily modified 2007 Honda Fit, featuring a altered rear and just enough comic book style to attract attention, recently sold in Tennessee for approximately $3,400. It’s part absurd, part inspired, and completely hard to overlook.
From the front, it presents as a typical first-generation Honda Fit, complete with round headlights, a wedge-shaped hood, and the standard bumper. The front doors are entirely ordinary, but behind that, things take a drastic turn towards Gotham. The back half of the vehicle is radically different.
To put it simply, it’s been chopped and reshaped into a miniature Batmobile. It boasts exaggerated fins above the wheels on each side and appears to have plenty of DIY fiberglass work. The paint is a stealthy black color. Notably, it has windows in the rear section, and the taillights seem untouched.
Beneath the cosplay, it remains a Honda. The odometer reads 107,000 miles, it's equipped with a manual transmission, making it suitable for everyday driving or perhaps escaping the Joker, provided he’s on foot. The seller, fully aware of this vehicle's attention-grabbing nature, cautioned prospective buyers: “don’t buy this car if you are a shy person!”
Beyond the Caped Crusader theme, the car is said to “run and drive great,” according to the advertisement. It still reportedly achieves 50 mpg, according to the seller, which seems strange as Honda never claimed that figure during its production. Perhaps it has some top-secret Wayne tech under the hood. We may never find out.
For $3,400 or the best offer, this crime-fighting commuter found a new owner—and likely a slew of new questions at every gas station along the journey. No trades, no nonsense, just a straightforward sale of what might be Tennessee’s oddest Honda.
I almost feel regret for not spotting this during my recent visit to the area. I would have definitely tried to review it. Here’s hoping the new owner wears a cape wherever they go. Would you drive this BatFit or would you steer clear?
