The Range Rover Sport Autobiography features a 523 hp V8 and is fully equipped with options.

We’re putting it to the test as if it were our own for an entire week and over several hundred miles.

This particular model is a fully loaded variant that is just under the highest trim level.

If you've been following the luxury SUV market recently, you might have observed something unusual. Although Land Rover briefly ceased imports to the USA, demand hasn't significantly declined. In fact, the opposite is true, as the brand's sales surged from 2023 to 2024.

Eager to discover the reason behind the excitement, we took a Firenze Red Range Rover Sport on an extensive road trip to experience it firsthand. Now it's your chance to ask us anything about this $130,000 powerhouse of an SUV.

Range Rover offers several variants of the Sport, and ours is notably among the finest. Named the Autobiography, this trim includes a 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 523 horsepower (390 kW) and 553 lb-ft (752 Nm) of torque. This power is distributed to all four 23-inch wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The base price, not including options, starts at $123,400.

What You Get for $130K (Beyond a Powerful Engine)

Of course, our test model isn’t stripped down. It comes with several options, including the aforementioned wheels that add $1,100 to the overall cost. Additionally, it features a towing package ($1,200), a “premium interior protection & storage pack” ($740), a cold climate pack ($450), a convenience pack ($385), and onboard Wi-Fi ($360). When you tally up a few other minor additions, the total comes to $130,110 after including destination and delivery fees.

In summary, this is quite an impressive vehicle for a road trip, which is exactly what we did. Land Rover graciously allowed us to take it across state lines for a thorough evaluation. After covering hundreds of miles, we are prepared to share everything noteworthy and less than favorable about this six-figure SUV.

While we’ll reserve our complete opinions for a full review, we’re curious about what you want to ask. Inquire about the tough topics, the detailed questions, and the engineering challenges. We’ll respond with thorough answers shortly.
