      The MP4-12C marked McLaren's initial foray into modern supercars, and since then, the brand has made significant strides, but these two models are certainly intriguing.

      Lewis Hamilton's 12C is finished in Volcano Red, while Jenson Button's is in Elite Pearl White. Both feature interiors with a red and black upholstery scheme; Hamilton's car is outfitted with Alcantara, whereas Button's incorporates leather.

      Both supercars have seen limited use and are anticipated to sell for prices exceeding the average market rate.

      The McLaren MP4-12C symbolizes the British manufacturer’s revival in the mid-engined supercar sector following the renowned F1, and two unique examples with fascinating histories will be available for sale in Italy next month. One was configured for and delivered to Lewis Hamilton, and the other to his then-teammate, Jenson Button.

      Hamilton’s previous MP4-12C stands out among the two. It boasts a finish in Volcano Red, one of McLaren's most esteemed standard colors. The seven-time F1 world champion also opted for an optional carbon fiber exterior package called the Stealth Package, along with five-spoke wheels in Satin Dark Grey.

      The MP4-12C was given to Hamilton in March 2012, but he parted ways with it later that year after transferring to Mercedes for the 2013 season. It has since been owned by the same person in France and has recorded just 8,938 km (5,553 miles). The interior features Harissa Red and Black Alcantara upholstery with numerous carbon fiber accents.

      Broad Arrow Auctions anticipates the vehicle will sell for between €175,000 (~$199,000) and €225,000 (~$256,000). This is quite significant, particularly as it is possible to locate used models in the US for less than $100,000 – but none of those were previously owned by Sir Lewis Hamilton.

      Jenson Button’s MP4-12C will also be auctioned at the same Villa d’Este event, expected to fetch between €125,000 (~$142,000) and €150,000 (~$170,000). Dressed in Elite Pearl White, the cabin features the same Harissa Red and Black theme as Hamilton’s vehicle, though Button’s model has leather instead of Alcantara.

      The 2009 F1 world champion retained the car until 2013, when he sold it to a collector in the UK, who still possesses it today. It has 12,438 km (7,728 miles) on the clock and has been recently serviced in anticipation of the auction.
