The new electrified Optiq-V is set to launch later this year and may exceed 500 hp.
Cadillac has confirmed its plans for a high-performance crossover, slated for release this year.
The Optiq-V will showcase updated styling and a significantly enhanced driving experience.
It is anticipated to feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing an impressive 515 hp.
Earlier this year, Cadillac introduced the 2026 Lyriq-V and is now offering a first look at the Optiq-V, which will become a vital part of their performance lineup upon its arrival later this year.
The luxury brand has kept details about its second V-Series electric vehicle under wraps, only stating that "engineers delivered a unique package prioritizing precision, a dynamic suspension, and tight steering for an exhilarating driving experience!"
In addition to vague commitments, Cadillac shared a few teaser images that hint at the upcoming crossover. While specific styling changes are difficult to identify, a unique diamond mesh pattern and V-Series badging are visible, along with a familiar rear design featuring a mid-mounted carbon fiber spoiler.
Earlier spy photos have revealed more, suggesting the vehicle will include distinctive bumpers and a subtle front lip, complemented by 21-inch wheels and a more robust braking system.
While the standard Optiq comes with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system generating 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 354 lb-ft (479 Nm) of torque, the Optiq-V is expected to be significantly more powerful, although Cadillac has not disclosed specific figures.
The Optiq-V could match the output of the all-wheel-drive Lyriq, which means it may offer 515 hp (384 kW / 522 PS) and 450 lb-ft (609 Nm) of torque—an increase of 215 hp (160 kW / 218 PS) and 96 lb-ft (130 Nm).
