Scooter Rider Dismisses Near-Fatal Incident After Being Struck by a Car | Carscoops

      Despite not wearing a helmet, the rider somehow managed to walk away from the accident.

      A scooter rider in Asia seemingly miraculously survived a harrowing crash after being struck and run over by a sedan.

      His survival may have been helped by bollards that lifted the car slightly during the collision.

      Surveillance footage captured the incident and the moments leading up to it. In the video, a silver sedan is seen making a right turn towards an entrance or exit of a parking lot. Just as the car starts to turn, a white scooter suddenly appears and collides with the front of the sedan.

      The impact throws the rider onto the car's hood. Instead of stopping, the driver seems to have accelerated, pushing the rider off the hood and in front of the vehicle. As the rider falls to the ground, the car rolls right over him.

      Although it's hard to tell if the front wheel of the car hit the rider's head, one of the rear wheels can clearly be seen rolling directly over him. Wearing only a hoodie and no helmet at the time, he surprisingly brushes off the impact and slowly stands up, walking away from the scene!

      He might owe his survival to divine intervention or sheer luck for not being killed instantly. As he flipped under the front of the vehicle, it struck four small bollards, which seems to have briefly lifted it off the ground. This could have reduced the force on his head and helped him avoid being crushed.

      However, it’s important to note that just because he appears fine after the incident doesn’t mean he escaped injury. During accidents like this, adrenaline can mask pain, and he might have sustained internal injuries or head trauma. Hopefully, he was taken to a hospital for a thorough evaluation and ended up okay after all.
