If you're in the market for a two-door Ford Bronco featuring a V6 engine, consider looking for a 2024 model. The 2025 Ford Bronco offers fewer trims and options, yet it comes at a higher price. For enthusiasts of the two-door V6, the only available choice is the new Stroppe Edition, which costs $78,000.

Last year, there were six Bronco trims available with two-door configurations (Big Bend, Black Diamond, Heritage Edition, Badlands, Wildtrak, and Heritage Limited Edition), and all except the Big Bend model could be equipped with the V6. As a result, the entry-level 2024 Bronco V6 two-door was the Black Diamond, priced at $49,960.

The 2025 Bronco Stroppe is a new limited-edition model that draws inspiration from the classic Stroppe Baja Bronco of the '60s and '70s, which was influenced by racing legend Bill Stroppe. The reintroduction of the Stroppe name combines the classic tri-color desert racer's aesthetic with modern touches. It is also the sole two-door 2025 Bronco that comes equipped with the 2.7-liter V6.

Standard features focus on high-speed desert performance, including a stabilizer bar disconnect, Baja G.O.A.T. drive mode, HOSS 3.0 suspension, Fox internal bypass dampers, 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires, and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels.

While Ford offers exciting new features, it also removes some options. Despite the impressive capabilities of the Stroppe Edition, it replaces the Bronco Wildtrak in the 2025 lineup. Moreover, it is one of only three two-door options for 2025. The base and Badlands models also offer two-door variants but are limited to the 2.3-liter turbo-four. The starting price for the Bronco Stroppe Special Edition is $78,225, which includes destination and acquisition fees.

As of this writing, the configurator for the 2024 Bronco is still accessible on Ford's website. However, creating a Wildtrak that mimics the replacing Stroppe is not feasible. You can come somewhat close, which would cost around $66,000, but it would still lack full-vehicle steel bash plates and Raptor-style running boards, among other features.

On the positive side, the base Bronco in the 2025 lineup begins at a more affordable price of $42,220. Additionally, many 2024 Broncos are available at dealerships, allowing for a variety of factory accessories and aftermarket modifications. This way, you can create a personalized build. Therefore, if you are contemplating a two-door V6 Bronco, now is the perfect time to consider purchasing last year's model.
