The Peralta S is the inaugural one-off commission created by Giugiaro’s GFG Style for a wealthy client.

Its aluminum body, shaped like a wedge and finished with a mirror polish, takes inspiration from the 1972 Maserati Boomerang.

Reports suggest that this supercar is built on the Maserati MC20 platform, utilizing its carbon tub and twin-turbo V6 engine.

GFG Style, the design firm established by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, has introduced its first bespoke creation for an exceptionally affluent client. Presenting the Peralta S, a distinct wedge-shaped supercar that is said to be based on the underpinnings of modern Maserati, featuring a custom aluminum exterior and an interior tailored to the owner's precise requirements.

Named after the Mexican collector Carlos Peralta, this coachbuilt special embodies more than just his name—it represents his luxurious tastes. The design of the Peralta S, crafted by Fabrizio Giugiaro, draws significant inspiration from Giorgetto Giugiaro’s legendary 1972 Maserati Boomerang concept, which remains one of the era’s most iconic designs.

      A Wedge That Means Business

The bodywork is meticulously handcrafted from aluminum, showcasing a mirror-polished finish that seamlessly integrates with the large glass surfaces for a striking linear appearance. The design adheres to the wedge theme celebrated in the ’70s, featuring a “single unbroken arc from front to rear,” giving it the appearance of slicing through the air at all times.

The side windows open upwards like small gullwing doors, while the canopy tilts forward, allowing for easy entry into the cockpit. The side cooling intakes, rear wing, and tail elements subtly reference Lamborghini’s design language, yet the Peralta S maintains a cleaner, more refined aesthetic. The retro-futuristic wheels, camera side mirrors, and sharp LED lights complete the exterior, pushing modern luxury's boundaries without being excessive.

      A Glimpse Under the Skin

Described as a “mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive sportscar,” the Peralta S is hand-assembled using aluminum and carbon fiber, resulting in an ultra-lightweight, performance-oriented structure. While precise specifications have not been officially revealed, Italian outlets suggest that the car is built on the Maserati MC20. Certain infotainment display features seem to affirm this connection, although the Peralta S features a highly customized two-seater cabin made of leather, aluminum, and carbon fiber.

The powertrain likely mimics that of the MC20, indicating it is equipped with Maserati’s carbon fiber tub and a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine. This engine produces 621 horsepower (463 kW / 630 PS) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque, delivered to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. In terms of performance, it's expected to compete with some of the finest sports cars on the market without being a mass-production model.

      The Unknown Price of Exclusivity

The Peralta S was officially unveiled at the Pastejé Automotive Invitational in Mexico on March 22, marking its grand debut to the design community. GFG Style has remained tight-lipped regarding the price, but given the one-off nature of the vehicle and the use of custom components, one can assume it was a significant investment for Carlos Peralta. After all, when commissioning such a unique car, “affordable” is typically not part of the discussion.

GFG Style has indicated that more details about the car will be shared through their social media platforms, so stay tuned if you're interested in learning what this remarkable machine can offer beyond its stunning design.
