Porsche's new infotainment system set to debut next year is faster and more advanced than before.

The 2026 models of the Cayenne, Panamera, Taycan, and 911 will include an enhanced infotainment system.

This system boasts increased power and responsiveness, featuring a new App Center and Amazon Alexa.

Customers can also expect Dolby Atmos technology and a decade of Porsche Connect services.

Many consider new vehicles to be similar to computers on wheels, with infotainment playing a crucial role in the overall customer experience. Keeping this in mind, Porsche is unveiling the latest iteration of their PCC (Porsche Communication Management).

Slated for the 2026 Cayenne, Panamera, Taycan, and 911, this upgraded system offers greater computing capabilities and enhanced responsiveness. In addition to hardware improvements, it features the new Porsche App Center, which recently launched with the Macan Electric, allowing users to easily download popular applications like Spotify and YouTube.

In addition, drivers will have access to Amazon Alexa, joining Porsche Voice Pilot as a second digital assistant. It operates similarly to an Echo device, enabling users to request actions like “Alexa, play country music.” Additionally, Alexa can provide updates on news and weather, among other information.

Audiophiles will be thrilled about the introduction of Dolby Atmos technology, available in vehicles with premium and high-end audio systems from Bose and Burmester. Porsche claims that Dolby Atmos “creates a spatial sound experience” for passengers, as sounds can be positioned all around the listener and delivered with exceptional clarity, depth, and precision.

Lastly, Porsche Connect will be offered as a standard feature for 10 years on the mentioned models, an increase of seven years compared to previous offerings, resulting in significant savings since a subscription currently costs $229 per year after an initial three-year trial.
