Classic cars are often cherished by their owners, so one can only imagine the dismay when two such vehicles collide. The situation becomes even more upsetting considering one of them was parked inside a garage.
This unusual accident took place in New Castle, Delaware, earlier this month, following what seems to be a collision between a Corvette C3 and a Chevrolet Trailblazer. The exact sequence of events is unclear; however, the SUV ended up in a yard, while the Corvette crashed into a garage.
Additionally, the Corvette effectively drove over a classic car that was parked within. While paramedics and local media did not confirm its identity, it seems to be a 1966 Chevrolet Nova. Regardless of its specific make, the crash shattered the car's rear window and damaged the trunk, bumper, and rear fender.
In contrast, the Corvette appears to be in impressive shape, though it undoubtedly incurred considerable damage to its front end.
Very little information is available about the incident, but New Castle County Paramedics reported that the crash occurred on March 16 at roughly 7:44 PM. One individual was transported to a nearby trauma center for assessment, while a special operations team assisted in stabilizing the structure.
