Tesla Dealership Targeted by Gunfire Again | Carscoops
Numerous vehicles and windows were reportedly shot at Tesla's Tigard location in Oregon recently.
According to reports, a Tesla dealership has been targeted again after last week's shooting incident.
This latest shooting has resulted in “extensive damage to vehicles and showroom windows.”
Authorities are seeking assistance from the public and are being supported by the ATF and FBI.
For the second time in a week, a Tesla dealership in Tigard, Oregon has come under gunfire. The most recent event took place early this morning at approximately 4:15 AM local time.
The Tigard Police Department indicated that more than a dozen shots were fired in this latest attack, leading to significant damage to cars and showroom windows. Notably, the presence of a security guard did not prevent the shooter from acting.
Police were unable to apprehend the individual(s) responsible, but they responded swiftly to the scene and are collaborating with the ATF and FBI as part of their investigation. An explosive detection dog from the ATF has been deployed to search for potential shell casings.
The police stated they are currently gathering evidence and reviewing surveillance footage from the area. They are also urging anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything to reach out to them.
The same dealership was attacked on March 6, when at least seven shots were fired, damaging three vehicles and breaking several windows. One bullet even penetrated an office wall and struck a computer monitor.
It is unclear whether the incidents are related, but after the first event, Tigard Police mentioned that Tesla dealerships have been “targeted across Oregon and the nation for political reasons.” This is a significant observation, as Elon Musk has become one of the most controversial figures in America due to a questionable salute, close connections to President Trump, and his role at the helm of the Department of Government Efficiency.
These factors have prompted a series of attacks both domestically and occasionally abroad. Additionally, Tesla owners have found themselves at risk, raising concerns about their personal safety.
