Subaru Unveils New Special Edition Levorg, Impreza, and Crosstrek in Japan | Carscoops

Subaru has introduced some minor updates to the exterior and interior of four new special edition models.

The company has added the new Levorg V-Sport and STI Sport R-Black to its lineup in Japan. The Crosstrek Sub Blaze Edition features a striking Sun Blaze Pearl color along with darker accents.

For many years, Subaru has been offering special edition models in its home market of Japan. This week, the brand debuted several new special editions, including two for the Levorg, a new Impreza, and a unique Crosstrek.

Beginning with the Levorg, Subaru is now adding the V-Sport and STI Sport R-Black Limited variants to the range. Neither variant upgrades the performance of the already available 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Levorg.

The V-Sport includes several darkened elements that give it a more aggressive look compared to the standard Levorg. Features like black badges, black wing mirrors, a black roof antenna, and black headlight trim contribute to its appearance. Additionally, it features ultra suede seats, red stitching, and a genuine leather steering wheel.

The new Levorg STI Sport R-Black Limited shares many of the same black accents but is built on the more robust STI Sport version, which produces 271 hp (202 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. The starting price for the V-Sport is 3,350,000 yen (~$22,500), while the STI Sport R-Black Limited starts from 4,260,000 yen (~$28,700).

Another addition this month is the Crosstrek Limited Sub Blaze Edition. All units are painted in a uniform Sun Blaze Pearl, a vibrant shade of orange. The modifications are entirely aesthetic, featuring dark grey leather interiors with orange stitching, a new shifter boot, and grey leather on the door panels and center console. Prices commence at 3,050,000 yen (~$20,500) for the front-wheel-drive model and 3,245,000 yen (~$21,800) for the all-wheel-drive variant.

Lastly, the new Subaru Impreza ST Black Selection has been introduced, with prices starting at 3,058,000 yen (~$20,900) for the front-wheel-drive version and reaching up to 3,272,500 yen (~$22,000) for the all-wheel-drive. Notable features include blacked-out fog lamp covers, black wing mirrors, and black side skirts. Subaru has also included aluminum pedals and new 17-inch wheels in this model.
