The 2001 NSX-T has only 6,000 miles on it, making it an incredibly low-mileage find.
Its Silverstone Metallic paint is among the most desirable colors from that time period.
The 3.2-liter V6 engine produces 290 hp and 224 lb-ft, paired with a manual transmission.
The original Acura NSX did more than just face off against Ferrari and Lamborghini—it demonstrated that a fast, dependable, and stylish mid-engine sports car could avoid being a maintenance hassle. Given its background, it’s no surprise that well-preserved models have been increasing in value recently, and this particular NSX-T stands out as one of the finest we have seen in the US in recent years.
Currently up for auction on Bring a Trailer, this NSX-T is a 2001 model that has been scarcely driven, with only around 6,000 miles (~9,600 km) since it first left the factory. Finished in Silverstone Metallic, arguably one of the most attractive colors available for the NSX, it has been owned by the same family since February 2002, representing an impressively preserved piece of automotive history.

If you’re curious, the “T” in the name isn’t just decorative. It stands for Targa, which means the roof panel is removable, allowing you to enjoy the open sky without fully opting for a convertible. If you’re familiar with the Chevy Corvette’s Targa top, you’ll understand. The exterior is in excellent condition, and the car still rides on its original 16-inch and 17-inch seven-spoke aluminum wheels, paired with Bridgestone Potenza RE010 tires. It showcases the essence of a well-maintained, low-mileage vehicle.
The power-adjustable sport seats are adorned in black leather, showing minimal wear with just a few cracks, which is remarkable for a vehicle of this age. The leather across the dashboard also appears to be in great condition.

As a 2001 model, this Acura NSX features a 3.2-liter naturally aspirated VTEC V6 producing 290 hp and 224 lb-ft at the time it was new. While those numbers may be surpassed by contemporary hot hatches, you won’t find a modern mid-engine sports car quite like this one that combines a high-revving V6 with a six-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a limited-slip differential. Make no mistake, the NSX-T is a true driver’s vehicle, and the bids for this one are nearing the $100,000 threshold.
