Hatred towards Tesla and Elon Musk is escalating, as evidenced by a second incident targeting a dealership within the last 24 hours.

A Tesla dealership in Tigard, Oregon, was hit by gunfire early Thursday morning.

The incident resulted in substantial damage, with estimates reaching into the tens of thousands.

This attack follows a firebombing and shooting at another Tesla location in Oregon.

Yet another shooting occurred at a Tesla dealership in Oregon, this time in Tigard around 1:46 a.m. on Thursday.

According to the Associated Press, police believe at least seven shots were fired during the early hours, breaking several windows and damaging at least three vehicles. One bullet reportedly penetrated a wall and struck a computer monitor.

Oregon Live reports that a Cybertruck was hit during the attack, resulting in "tens of thousands of dollars" in damages. Authorities have been tight-lipped about the details but confirmed they are collaborating with both the ATF and the FBI.

This shooting follows a similar occurrence at a Tesla store in Salem, Oregon, where 41-year-old Adam Matthew Lansky allegedly visited the dealership on January 20 and threw a Molotov cocktail, damaging a Model X.

Approximately a month later, on February 19, Lansky reportedly returned and fired several rounds that struck a vehicle and damaged multiple dealership windows.

Lansky was arrested earlier this week and is now facing federal charges for "illegally possessing an unregistered destructive device."

While there is no information regarding the motive behind the latest attack, there have been multiple incidents following Elon Musk's controversial actions and his dismissal of government employees as the self-proclaimed head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). In addition to shootings, there have been protests and incidents involving Nazi graffiti. A supercharger station has also been attacked, leaving Tesla owners feeling targeted.

Some customers have voiced concerns about becoming victims of a "hate crime." Although this may seem exaggerated, owners have reported being yelled at and receiving obscene gestures. Additionally, vehicles have suffered damage and vandalism.
