In this industry, we encounter numerous camouflaged prototypes. In fact, it’s rare for a day to pass without us seeing at least a new set of spy shots, often more. Most of them are at best predictable, and at worst quite dull. Then there are instances when we come across something like this.

This prototype is from Ceer, and if you’re unfamiliar with it, you’re not alone. After a thorough search across the Internet, we found a few mentions of this forthcoming electric vehicle, which is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF)—the sovereign wealth fund and a significant source of the country's influence. Through this fund, billions have been invested in various electric vehicle initiatives, including Lucid Motors, and the establishment of a domestic manufacturer and supply chain. This prototype is a product of that initiative.

The vehicle currently lacks a name (even Ceer’s website is vague about its offerings, only referring to "the future") and we couldn’t locate any specific information regarding the powertrain, but it’s clearly some kind of utility vehicle with off-road capabilities. The combination of its wheels and tires supports this observation.

Now, let’s discuss the design. This prototype adopts the Cybertruck’s vacuum-like silhouette and takes it to an extreme, resulting in something that resembles a Transformer’s footwear. One might even compare it to the Batmobile from the Christian Bale era. Judging by the relatively compact size of its test driver, this vehicle is quite imposing.

What this vehicle is or what its final purpose will be remains uncertain, but wherever it goes, it will certainly attract attention.
