      Rimac has introduced the high-performance Nevera R Founder’s Edition model.

      Production is limited to just 10 units, featuring custom exterior details.

      Owners will have the chance to take part in strategy discussions and exclusive product previews globally.

      The Rimac Nevera R is a highly coveted vehicle in the hypercar arena, with only 40 units to be produced. However, for those seeking something even more exclusive, the Nevera R Founder’s Edition is now available, limited to just ten units.

      This is not an ordinary limited edition. Buyers will gain access to experiences generally unavailable to outsiders, effectively entering Rimac’s exclusive network. They will participate in internal strategy and R&D discussions, preview upcoming products before the public announcement, and witness live record attempts firsthand.

      What Do Owners Actually Receive?

      The experience begins at Rimac’s expansive campus in Zagreb, where the ten owners will be greeted by Founder and CEO Mate Rimac and Design Director Frank Heyl.

      They will collaborate with customers to customize their Founder’s Edition using real-time visualization tools to choose colors, materials, and finishes with exceptional control.

      Externally, the special edition features a two-tone color scheme enhanced by ultra-thin stripes along the hood, roof, and rear wing, adorned with circuit board graphics. Additionally, a Founder’s Edition emblem engraved with Mate Rimac’s initials is located on the front fenders, while hand-painted accents can be customized by the owners.

      Inside, the asymmetrical seating design references Mate Rimac’s personal Nevera. The upholstery is crafted with hand stitching, and almost every surface can be personalized. Embroidery on the doors marks significant dates in Rimac’s history, MR initials are featured on the headrests, and the Founder’s Edition badge is placed between the seats.

      From a performance perspective, the Founder’s Edition does not alter the already impressive specifications of the Nevera R. It still boasts four electric motors that produce a total output of 2,107 horsepower.

      Earlier this year, the Nevera R broke records, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 1.72 seconds and reaching a top speed of 268.2 mph (431.45 km/h). This record was later surpassed by the BYD YangWang U9’s claimed 308.33 mph (496.22 km/h), although not in an officially recognized environment.

      What Else Is Included?

      Beyond the technical specifications, what distinguishes the Founder’s Edition are the lasting benefits it provides. Rimac describes the offering as follows:

      “For the tenure of their ownership, the ten Founder’s Club members will receive priority invitations to product previews, a company card for direct access to Bugatti Rimac HQ, invitations to performance events and record-breaking runs, participation in strategic discussions with Mate and the team, and a voice in the research and development that will produce the innovative cars of the future.

      This select global group will also enjoy various exclusive advantages and invitations as part of their membership, with specific details known only to the Founders.”

      So yes, it is a vehicle, but it also serves as a gateway into the operations of a forward-thinking automotive company, complete with driving instruction from Rimac’s professional testers to help owners fully utilize the car’s potential. Once each vehicle is finalized, Mate Rimac will personally deliver the keys.

      Rimac has not disclosed the official pricing for the Founder’s Edition, although the standard Nevera R begins at €2.3 million ($2.7 million) before taxes. It is reasonable to presume that the new version will significantly exceed this price.

      Mate Rimac expressed gratitude to the customers, stating, “Without them, nothing we have built would have been possible. I wanted to find a way to thank the visionary individuals who helped shape this journey—and to invite ten of them to experience our world in an entirely new way.”
