Dealers Still Unable to Sell Fiat’s Overlooked SUV After All This Time | Carscoops
Fiat dealerships are offering discounts exceeding $14,000 on unsold 500Xs, which have been left on lots for years following the SUV's discontinuation.
As of now, one dealership in Maryland lists ten new models in its inventory.
Some dealerships are providing significant markdowns of over $14,000.
The Fiat 500X was discontinued in the United States at the end of the 2023 model year, but these crossovers are still available at dealerships. For instance, a dealer in Gaithersburg, Maryland has ten units in stock.
This situation is notable, especially since Criswell Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat is heavily stocked with 500Xs. Given that manufacturers are already unveiling models for 2027, it’s understandable that these crossovers are being sold at substantial discounts.
The four lowest-priced vehicles are the 2023 500X Pops, which originally had a price tag of $33,785 but are now reduced to $20,999, reflecting a discount of $12,786.
If the base model isn't appealing, there are three 500X Sports that initially sold for $35,865, now lowered to $21,999, offering a savings of $13,866.
For those willing to take a risk on an older Fiat, there’s a 500X Sport that originally cost $37,115 now available for $22,999. This provides a discount of $14,116, although it may not be considered a great deal as it remains a three-year-old model.
While Criswell seems to have the majority of new 500Xs, other options exist as well. In Georgia, Thomson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat has its last 500X Pop priced at $20,650.
The dealership's advertisement is outdated, referencing a promotion that expired on July 30, 2025, which offered an additional $1,250 discount for trading in vehicles made in 2010 or newer with less than 120,000 miles. However, they might still honor that promotion to clear out the 500X.
Additionally, Alfa Romeo South Miami and Alfa Romeo of Strongsville, Ohio have new 500X Sports available. The former is priced at $29,055, while the latter has theirs listed for $36,830.
