Wendy’s Employees Are Receiving Durango Hellcat Discounts and It’s Not a Hoax | Carscoops

A new employee initiative offers Wendy's staff an opportunity to purchase discounted muscle cars.

Wendy's workers can acquire certain models for 1% less than the factory invoice.

This deal translates to savings of up to $2,600 on a 2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat.

Dodge has confirmed that the 2026 Durango will soon be available nationwide.

While working at a Wendy’s in the US may not initially seem like a path to owning a muscle car, FCA’s Affiliate Rewards program allows employees to enjoy benefits that extend beyond a Baconator combo, including a chance to own a V8-powered 2026 Dodge Durango.

According to a dealer bulletin, employees from “select companies designated by FCA US LLC,” including Wendy's, can purchase new vehicles through the program at “1 percent less than the factory invoice, plus a $75 administration fee,” as reported by Cars Direct.

Before diving into calculations, it's important to note that this is not simply a 1% discount off the invoice; it's effectively 99% of the invoice price.

The announcement also states that the updated 2026 Durango, including the much-anticipated SRT Hellcat version, is eligible for this offer.

      **How Much Can They Save?**

For most customers, the starting price for a 2026 Durango SRT Hellcat is $79,995. With an invoice cost of $78,115, Wendy’s employees would save approximately $2,600 from MSRP through the program, which could buy a lot of spicy nuggets or provide a summer’s worth of Frostys, depending on their preferences.

While this is a substantial amount, Cars Direct mentions that it’s possible the 2026 Durango could become even more affordable in the future. Last year, for instance, discounts for the 2025 model reached up to $7,100.

It’s uncertain why Wendy’s is included in the Affiliate Rewards program; it could be due to Stellantis executives being big fans of the chain, or perhaps there’s another underlying reason.

      **Durango Hellcats Go Nationwide**

Additionally, there is the aspect of availability. Although Dodge unveiled the new Durango months ago, the 6.4-liter HEMI and 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat variants are not yet available across the country.

As reported earlier this week, there are still seven CARB-regulated states where these models are restricted, such as California, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Washington, and Vermont.

However, a recent dealer guide has confirmed that the SUVs will soon receive CARB approval, making them available in every US state.

Once that occurs, a Wendy’s crew member anywhere in the country could theoretically spend their next lunch break racing down the quarter-mile in a Durango Hellcat, with a value meal nestled in the cup holder.
