ABT has unveiled a new tuning kit for the Audi SQ5 model.

This package includes subtle aerodynamic components, 22-inch wheels, and enhanced power.

The modified SQ5’s turbo V6 engine now generates 435 horsepower.

The new generation of the Q5 debuted earlier this year, introducing sharper visuals and a greater emphasis on technology to one of Audi’s most beloved SUVs. However, despite these improvements, there’s still no indication of a fully-fledged RS variant, leaving the SQ5 as the top-performing model in the lineup.

This is where the German tuning company ABT Sportsline intervenes, providing a more powerful, better-handling, and visually striking alternative to the SQ5 for those who feel Audi didn’t push the envelope enough.

The modified SUV sets itself apart with ABT’s subtle aerodynamic package, which includes a front splitter, a body-colored rear diffuser, and an enlarged roof spoiler. The outcome appears purposeful while still harmonizing with the original design.

      Adding Some Visual Aggression

What truly stands out are the glossy black 22-inch ABT Evo sport wheels that debut on this sporty SUV. Alternatively, customers can opt for the more understated 20-inch Sport GR wheels featuring a classic multi-spoke pattern, also available in the same color.

At the rear, quad tailpipes made of stainless steel, finished in matte black, replace the factory exhaust. These measure a substantial four inches wide, enhancing the SUV’s aggressive presence.

Inside, there are minimal changes, limited to custom door mats and ABT-branded puddle lights.

      Power To Complement Its Appearance

Under the hood is an improved version of the turbocharged 3.0 TFSI V6 engine, now offering 435 horsepower (324 kW / 440 PS) and 600 Nm (442.5 lb-ft) of torque. This reflects an increase of 72 hp (54 kW) and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) over the stock variant, attributed to the ABT Power S performance module.

The same enhancements were recently applied to the ABT-tuned Audi S5 Avant, which features the same engine. The additional power is complemented by lowering springs, lowering the SQ5 by up to 1.7 inches (45 mm) and offering a look reminiscent of a smaller Q8.

ABT’s new enhancements have so far only been shown on the standard SQ5, but the same kit (excluding the rear spoiler) is also compatible with the SQ5 Sportback coupe SUV. The company has not yet shared pricing details, but interested customers can reach out to them directly for a quote.
