Ford has unveiled a new Bronze Package for the 2026 Bronco Sport.

This design incorporates bronze elements akin to those found on the Mustang and Mustang Mach-E.

It will be available on the Big Bend and Badlands trims, with additional options to come later.

Ford is infusing the Bronco Sport with a rugged desert vibe via the new Bronze Appearance Package for the 2026 model year. The compact SUV adopts styling cues from the Mustang and Mustang Mach-E, which offer similar enhancement kits, thereby introducing bronze accents both externally and internally.

According to Ford color and materials designer Kristen Keenan, the use of bronze has been rising in popularity across various items, from watches to sneakers, making its appearance on vehicles inevitable.

In addition to the Mustangs, the “Sinister Bronze” finish has already been featured on the full-size Bronco through Ford Custom Garage, marking the first instance of the smaller Bronco Sport receiving this treatment.

Outside, the Sinister Bronze color is evident on the 17-inch alloy wheels, which can be combined with all-terrain tires based on the trim. The aesthetic is complemented by bronze Bronco lettering on the grille and tailgate, outlined in Ebony Black, along with corresponding accents on the side vents.

This package can be paired with several exterior colors, including the depicted Oxford White, as well as Carbonized Gray, Shadow Black, Velocity Blue, Space White, and Azure Gray Tri-Coat Metallic options. Regardless of the chosen color, the roof remains black, and the door handles stay body-colored.

Inside, the theme is consistent with bronze trim adorning the dashboard, climate vents, door panels, all-weather floor mats, and cargo cover. Canyon-colored stitching adds a contrasting touch to the seats and steering wheel.

Ford has yet to announce detailed specifications for the 2026 Bronco Sport, but the powertrain lineup is anticipated to remain unchanged. The existing options include a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine producing 180 hp (134 kW / 183 PS) and a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine generating 238 hp (177 kW / 241 PS).

Initially, the Bronze Appearance Package will be available on the Bronco Sport Big Bend, with the Badlands trim to follow later. It is also compatible with the Black Diamond Off-Road Package. Pricing details for the 2026 lineup will be revealed closer to the release date.
