This Pre-owned Maybach SL 680 Monogram Has Just 15 Miles and an Insane Price Tag | Carscoops
The 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series represents the most luxurious and exclusive version of the luxury roadster.
The Maybach SL currently for sale shows just 15 miles on its odometer, powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that delivers 577 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. A comparable model was found in Maybach's own US inventory for $232,685.
A luxury roadster can make a significant impact, but few achieve the presence of the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series. Launched last year as the most lavish rendition of the Mercedes convertible, it is now available on the market in near pristine condition. An exotic car dealer based in Miami, Limited Spec, is offering a unit with delivery mileage for an asking price of $299,980.
Although listed as a used vehicle, this 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series has only 15 miles (24 km) on the odometer, making it virtually new.
Dressed for Attention
The roadster is coated in Patagonia Red Metallic from Mercedes’ Manufaktur division, complemented by a contrasting black hood and extensive chrome accents. A shiny set of 21-inch forged wheels enhances its appeal. The Maybach branding is prominently displayed on the distinctive grille, bumper intake, LED headlights, and the fabric roof.
Inside, the luxury continues. The interior features Crystal White Nappa leather upholstery with a floral design, along with Maybach logos across the seats and rear wall. A 17-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system leads an impressive list of features, alongside heated and ventilated seats with 12-way adjustment, illuminated entry plates, and dual-zone climate control.
Limited Spec
Under the hood is a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, generating 577 hp (430 kW / 585 PS) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission and the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. However, these specifications pale compared to the SL63 S E Performance, which offers a remarkable 805 hp (600 kW / 816 PS) from its plug-in hybrid system.
Price of Exclusivity
Limited Spec serves as the official importer of Mansory in the US, focusing on high-end models. Indeed, the $300k Mercedes-Maybach SL is not the priciest vehicle in the Miami dealer’s offerings, with Mansory-modified Rolls-Royce Cullinans and Lamborghini Revueltos listed for three times that price.
One might contend that $300,000 is steep for an SL, and checking Mercedes’ inventory won't change that perception. The Maybach SL680 starts at $224,900 on the official website, with a similar 2026 model currently available in Florida for $232,685. Although Limited Spec’s vehicle may include additional features, the price difference compared to factory pricing is significant.
For those considering options, the SL range offers more variety. The entry-level Mercedes-AMG SL 43 begins at $112,550, while the top-tier SL 63 S E Performance is priced at $207,900, both notably less than the cost of this particular Maybach edition.
