First Sightings of Electric 2028 Bentley SUV Featuring a Bold Front Design

The electric Bentley is on its way, regardless of market dynamics.
Expected to be unveiled later this year or early next year, the 2028 Bentley SUV will mark the luxury brand's first electric vehicle and introduce a new design aesthetic.
Don't be misled by the camouflage. While the prototype features lighting elements reminiscent of the Bentayga and Flying Spur, which are largely stickers, it looks distinctly different from current Bentley models. Notice the square, upright front end, the extensive lower intake across the front, and the sizable radar sensor array positioned at the center.
The rear showcases a sleeker roofline tapering into a sloped hatch, contrasting with the existing Bentayga. The rear fenders exhibit some curves, which may be the closest resemblance this prototype has to today’s Bentayga.
It's uncertain how much of the EXP 15 Concept's design is incorporated into the design of this electric Bentley due to the camouflage. However, the blunt front and broad lower intakes raise questions about whether some design elements from the concept will appear in production.
The electric Bentley SUV will be built on the platform of the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric, featuring a fast 800-volt electrical architecture, likely a 113-kWh battery, and dual-motor powertrains using motors developed in-house, along with the PPE platform first introduced with the Macan Electric. There may also be options for wireless charging on the Bentley EV.
