In Australia, the Ranger Super Duty ranks as the most expensive model in the lineup.
Optional Work, Farm, and Adventure Packs offer upgrades for job sites and off-road use.
A 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel powers all four wheels and allows for towing of up to 4,500 kg.
Large trucks seldom embrace subtlety; Ford’s new Ranger Super Duty fully embodies this concept with a blend of power, practicality, and accessories suited for those needing more than a standard vehicle for daily use. The latest addition to the Ranger lineup has been revealed for Australia, complete with pricing and specifications.
Positioned just above the Raptor in terms of cost, it is marketed as the most robust tool in Ford’s midsize pickup lineup, though it will not be available in North America.

The 2026 Ford Ranger Super Duty was introduced in April, and we now have all the specifications ahead of the initial deliveries scheduled for late 2026. This new version of the well-liked truck features a distinctive grille and hood design, off-road bumpers, a snorkel, and robust 33-inch all-terrain tires.
Powertrain Designed for Purpose
Beneath the hood, a modified 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel generates 207 hp (154 kW / 209 PS) and 443 lb-ft of torque. It has been updated to comply with stricter emissions standards, resulting in a decrease of 40 hp (30 kW / 41 PS) compared to the Ranger Platinum. A 10-speed automatic transmission directs power to all four wheels using a full-time 4WD system, supported by standard front and rear differential locks.
The Ranger Super Duty features a reinforced chassis, enabling it to tow up to 4,500 kg (9,921 pounds), which is comparable to the larger Ford F-150. The payload capacity has also been improved to 1,982 kg (4,370 pounds). This truck is available in Single Cab, Super Cab, and Double Cab styles, with varying tray sizes, and a standard length of 5,470 mm (215.4 inches).
Optional Packages
Ford Australia emphasizes that the Super Duty is not a one-size-fits-all vehicle. It offers three themed accessory bundles, each tailored for specific tasks, along with a comprehensive list of standalone add-ons.
All three packages come with a heavy-duty steel tray, a side-mounted 25-lt water tank, a secure toolbox, and all-weather floor mats. The Work Pack adds an integrated device mounting system and a top console mount for instrument panels, useful for job sites, in addition to yellow wheel nut indicators.
The Farm Pack includes the ARB Summit Bull Bar for added protection and a more rugged appearance. Lastly, the Adventure Pack combines the same bull bar with a high-capacity Warn winch and ARB Rock Sliders for off-roading experiences. Buyers interested in customization can also select from the accessory list, which features a rear ladder rack, door moldings, decal sets, scuff plates, dash cams, and a dual battery system with charger.

Later in 2026, an XLT trim will be added to the lineup, featuring alloy wheels, upgrades for touring, and more premium details intended for long-distance driving.
What’s the Price?
In Australia, pricing for the 2026 Ranger Super Duty starts at AU$82,990 (US$55,200) for the Single Cab and AU$89,990 (US$59,700) for the Double Cab, both excluding road costs. The accessory packages are not inexpensive; the Work Pack is priced at AU$10,479 (US$6,900), the Farm Pack at AU$14,629 (US$9,700), and the Adventure Pack at AU$20,161 (US$13,300). Prices for all three will increase after March 2026.
Ford’s configurator illustrates how quickly the total costs can escalate. A Single Cab Super Duty could reach AU$97,680 (US$65,000), roughly AU$432 (US$290) more than a Ranger Raptor. Choosing a Double Cab with the Adventure Pack and additional features brings the price closer to AU$133,000 (US$74,800).
The first units of the Ranger Super Duty are expected to arrive at Australian dealerships in late 2026. Ford currently has no plans to offer the Super Duty in North America or Europe.
