Q by Aston Martin has launched special editions of the DB12 Volante and Vanquish Volante with unique features both inside and out.

Aston Martin's DB12 and Vanquish models celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Volante with limited-run editions.

Both convertibles are painted in matching green shades, adorned with bronze accents and bronze wheels.

Production will be limited to 60 units for each model, commemorating 60 years since the original Volante.

Aston Martin is renowned for crafting some of the most stunning convertibles globally, so the 60th anniversary of the Volante is a milestone worth celebrating. To honor this event, the British automaker has unveiled special editions of the DB12 and Vanquish, developed by its Q by Aston Martin division.

Additionally, to ensure the occasion feels official, Aston has named them the DB12 60th Anniversary of Volante Edition and the Vanquish 60th Anniversary of Volante Edition. Quite subtle, indeed.

The Volante designation traces back to 1965, first used on the Short Chassis Volante, which was in production for only one year. Since then, it has been a part of a long line of Aston convertibles, including the DB6, V8 Vantage, DB7, DB9, DB11, DBS, Virage, and more recently, the DB12 and Vanquish.

      **Exterior Design Features**

As anticipated, both anniversary editions are based on the open-top DB12 and Vanquish. Each is coated in Q Pentland Green, complemented by a slightly darker Q Westminster Green for the hood. The design features an Anodised Bronze finish on the grille and side gills, a motif that continues onto the Satin Bronze 21-inch alloy wheels, which have diamond-turned edges paired with black brake calipers. A Q by Aston Martin badge on the fenders adds to the exterior styling.

      **A Luxuriously Crafted Interior**

Inside, the anniversary theme persists with a tri-tone interior that mixes Centenary Saddle Tan, Ivory, and woven leather. Dark Walnut open-pore veneers along with bronze accents enhance the interior's richness, while 60th Anniversary embroidery subtly acknowledges the occasion. The DB12 maintains its 2+2 seating layout, while the Vanquish offers a two-seat configuration, providing extra cargo space.

The most significant difference between the two models lies under the hood. The DB12 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine generating 671 hp (500 kW / 680 PS) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. The Vanquish, on the other hand, claims the performance title with a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine that produces 824 hp (614 kW / 835 PS) and 1000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque.

Consequently, the Vanquish Volante emerges as the fastest and most powerful production convertible ever made by Aston, accelerating from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 214 mph (344 km/h). The DB12 Volante is not far behind, achieving 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).

Pricing has yet to be revealed, but both editions will be limited to 60 units each. Deliveries are expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2025, giving collectors a limited opportunity to acquire one of these celebratory vehicles.
