Honda has provided an initial glimpse of its lineup for the 2025 Japan Mobility Show, set to kick off on October 29.

The image showcases nine covered vehicles, some of which are brand-new while others are already on the market.

The Prelude is anticipated to be the highlight of their display, although there may be additional surprises.

Honda has unveiled the first teasers for its forthcoming lineup at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show, beginning on October 29. While the specifics remain undisclosed, the shadowy figures in the teaser indicate at least nine showcases. However, not all will be making their debut, as several models are already available for purchase.

Currently, the only officially confirmed vehicles are the Honda 0 Series Saloon and SUV prototypes, which are set to enter production in 2026, starting with the SUV to be manufactured in Ohio. Notably, the teaser features these two 0 Series vehicles alongside a third silhouette, suggesting that another EV may be forthcoming.

Two Coupes: One is The Prelude, What's the Other?

The centerpiece will be the revived Honda Prelude in its production form, following the nearly identical prototype revealed at the 2023 edition of the event. A closer examination of the teaser shows two coupe outlines side by side, leading to speculation about the identity of the second coupe.

One potential option is that Honda might present a Prelude with the optional Sports Style package from its Genuine Accessories lineup. This could accompany the ON Limited Edition hybrid coupe, which features a black roof and dealer-installed additions.

Alternatively, a more intriguing possibility is the appearance of a prototype for the much-anticipated Prelude Type R, although this seems unlikely at this stage. Of course, the second silhouette may ultimately represent something entirely different.

Compact EVs and Kei Car Variants

Another likely debut is the electric Honda N-One e:, a kei car introduced just last month. This compact hatchback may be accompanied by a sportier variant inspired by the camouflaged Super EV prototype displayed at Goodwood. This would be distinct from the N-One e: equipped with optional Mugen accessories, which could also be featured at the show on its own stand.

As for the SUVs, local media outlet Creative Trend suggests that Honda could unveil the Vezel e:HEV in RS trim, along with the CR-V e:HEV, which has yet to be made available in the Japanese market.

      Beyond Four Wheels

Vehicles won’t be the only draws. Honda plans to showcase seven motorcycles, a range of power products, and even an aircraft. The focal point of their aviation display will be a full-scale interior mockup of the HondaJet Elite II small business jet. Among the notable motorcycle entries are the CUV e:, an electric commuter bike, and the Rebel 1100 S, which features a dual-clutch transmission.

The company has announced that it will reveal more information about the lineup for the 2025 Japan Mobility Show in stages. An update is expected at the end of September via Honda’s dedicated website. Press days for the Tokyo show will be held on October 29 and 30, while the general public can visit from October 31 to November 9.
