      Recently unveiled at The Quail, Lexus shared their vision for "the next generation sports car." A production version is speculated to launch in late 2026, featuring an electric powertrain.

      At Monterey Car Week, Lexus' new sports car concept captured attention with its appealing design and advanced features. This concept likely indicates the direction the brand is taking for its next generation of performance vehicles.

      It remains uncertain whether it hints at a successor to the LFA, a more practical continuation of the LC, or an entirely new sports car model, especially given the limited information released by Lexus.

      The Sport Concept signifies a shift in Lexus’ design approach, looking significantly closer to a production vehicle than the 2021 Lexus Electrified Sport Concept. With its low stance, elongated hood, sizable alloy wheels, and sleek roofline, it merges the characteristics of a traditional sports car with those of an exotic grand tourer.

      At the front, L-shaped LED headlights are seamlessly integrated into the intakes. Concealed diamond-shaped daytime running lights become visible only when lit, maintaining a clean and purposeful front façade. The sculpted fenders and intricately designed lower bumper replace the brand’s iconic spindle grille with a more aggressive and arguably more attractive alternative.

      Moving to the side view, vents behind the front wheels and the design of the C-pillar allude to the now-defunct LFA supercar. From an aerial perspective, the wing-like shapes resembling flying buttresses channel air towards an active rear spoiler that completes the compact rear deck.

      At the back, a broad LED taillight strip spans the width of the vehicle, interrupted solely by a glowing Lexus emblem. A prominent rear diffuser takes center stage on the bumper, incorporating an F1-style center brake light that adds a motorsport flair.

      While the full interior details have not been disclosed, glimpses from a promotional video reveal a forward-looking setup.
