After a Roadkill Nights drag event, the Ram's Bucking Hemi mechanical bull was stolen.

CEO Tim Kuniskis has reached out to the enthusiast community for assistance in retrieving the ride-on bull.

This mechanical bull, adorned with a prominent Ram head, was utilized to promote the return of the Hemi engine.

You’ve likely heard the phrase, “what happens on tour, stays on tour.” Some playful muscle car enthusiasts seem to have taken this to heart, deciding that the Ram mechanical bull, which was promoting the V8 message nationwide, wouldn’t make its way back to Detroit.

Earlier this summer, Ram unveiled a large silver Ram head on a mechanical bull, dressing it with a V8-patterned saddle to celebrate the comeback of Hemi V8 power in its truck lineup. Named Bucking Hemi, this attraction first appeared in June at the Michigan International Speedway, coinciding with Ram's return to NASCAR.

However, its subsequent appearance at a Roadkill Nights drag racing event in southeast Michigan would sadly be its last.

      Stolen during disassembly

The bull was taken from the event while being disassembled around 9:45 PM on Saturday, leading Ram’s CEO Tim Kuniskis to make an appeal on social media.

“This is bull****,” the Ram CEO stated in a release from the company. “Our Bucking Hemi was taken Saturday evening. The search is officially on, and we won’t stop until we get him back.”

Ram has requested the help of the enthusiast community and mentioned they are collaborating with local authorities in an effort to ensure the bull's safe return. They urged anyone with information to contact local law enforcement or reach out to Ram directly.

      A call to the community

“Although this is a significant loss for the Hemi community, Ram remains resolute,” the company added. “We encourage the public to help spread the word and assist in locating our cherished Bucking Hemi.”

While there is no guarantee of recovering the bull, the enthusiast community is known for tracking down stolen automotive items. Recently, when former Top Gear host Chris Harris had his classic BMW M5 stolen, he sought help from his social media followers, and the car was found—mostly unharmed—on the same day.
