First Harambe, then Peanut the Squirrel, and now, a certain malicious individual has taken away Ram’s V8-powered mechanical bull, also known as the “Bucking Hemi.”

Introduced as a “symbol of protest,” Ram’s new V8 logo is as masculine as possible and suits a fun carnival ride at the annual Roadkill Nights events in Pontiac, Michigan. The mechanical bull V8 was in action for several days last weekend, but it was reportedly stolen during the disassembly process.

“What started as a bold representation of horsepower and defiance has unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. On the evening of Saturday, August 9, around 9:45 pm, after a Ram-sponsored event at Roadkill Nights in Michigan, the Bucking Hemi was taken during disassembly. A formal report has been submitted to local authorities, and an investigation is currently underway,” a company spokesperson informed The Drive via email.

The automaker states that although this is a significant loss, it remains resilient and is calling on the public for assistance in locating its cherished robotic mascot. For clarity, a spokesperson has confirmed that this is not a publicity stunt, so the Bucking Hemi is genuinely missing.
