Mulliner is now introducing open-pore wood, tinted carbon, and high-gloss veneers in fresh finishes.
Options include anodized speaker grilles, 18k gold vent controls, and new fabric door inserts.
New Personal Commissioning Guides offer curated design recommendations and over 100 color options.
It's widely recognized that personalization is a powerful selling point, and for brands like Bentley, customization programs are the ultimate means of self-expression. Approximately 25 percent of the cars produced at Bentley’s facility are equipped with the Mulliner label, indicating that the buyer has influenced the design process. Starting today, those buyers can explore even more extravagant options.
Customers already had access to a vast range of textures, colors, and enhancements to select from. The company noted that there were 46 billion configurations possible as of March, and it’s hard to estimate how many more options must exist now.

These new features and choices go beyond just a few paint colors. First, the brand is providing new open pore wood veneers. These trim pieces are treated with 90 percent less lacquer than high-gloss finishes, preserving the natural appearance and texture of the original grain. Bentley highlighted specific varieties, such as Vavona and Liquid Amber, in its announcement.
Furthermore, buyers can now select from four new color tints of carbon fiber: Damson, Kingfisher Blue, Imperial Blue, and Cumbrian Green. There are also various front console panel options available, featuring pinstriped veneers, open pore wood, or any of more than 100 paint colors. Mulliner has introduced a new technical finish metal panel called Wave for the center console as well.
New tweed door inserts are also on offer, with five distinct patterns including Cheltenham, Glen Plaid, Charcoal Herringbone, Sand Herringbone, and Damson. Customization extends beyond just the dash and upholstery. Those opting for the Bang & Olufsen sound system can now select the color of their speaker grilles. Previously, five colors were available, and now three additional colors—Kingfisher, Pillar Box Red, and Mandarin—have been added.
Essentially, this program presents any Bentley customer willing to spend the money with a blank canvas. While there have been some impressive examples of customization, some have been less notable. Ultimately, when investing this much in a vehicle, at least you can claim it’s uniquely yours.
