Porsche has discreetly increased the prices of the 911 by several thousand dollars.
The base model, the 911 Carrera, has seen a $4,600 rise, bringing its new price to $132,300.
Porsche indicated that this adjustment is due to “market conditions,” likely referring to tariffs.
Several automakers have adjusted their prices in response to tariffs, and Porsche has now joined their ranks. The starting price for the 911 is now $132,300, up from $127,700 earlier this month for the entry-level 911 Carrera.
In other models, the 911 Carrera T's price has risen from $138,700 to $143,700, an increase of $5,000. Similarly, the Carrera S has jumped $5,300 from $146,400 to $151,700.
The price for the 911 Carrera Cabriolet has increased from $140,900 to $146,000, while the 911 Targa 4 GTS now starts at $197,700, up from $190,800. Notably, the 911 Turbo S has surged by $8,300, starting at $238,700.
These notable price hikes represent the second increase within four months; the first was linked to the introduction of the 2026 model, while this recent increase is attributed to “market conditions,” which is commonly interpreted as tariffs—a term many companies are wary of using due to potential backlash from the Trump administration.
In a statement, Porsche mentioned they are consistently monitoring market conditions, trying to absorb costs where feasible, and only making adjustments when absolutely necessary. They concluded that adjustments between 2.3 and 3.6 percent were “required.”
Porsche spokesperson Frank Wiesmann also suggested that some options have become more expensive, stating, “Similar to the MSRP itself, market conditions necessitate incremental adjustments to individual option pricing from time to time.”
Though there is no straightforward way for the 911 to evade tariffs, earlier reports indicated that Porsche was contemplating collaborating with Audi to manufacture SUVs at Volkswagen’s Chattanooga plant in Tennessee. However, more recent reports have suggested that Audi may establish a completely new facility in the southern United States.
