Zenvo's Latest Supercar Combines 1,850 HP With a Deadly Gaze | Carscoops
The Danish manufacturer has completed the design of the Tur and plans to reveal it at this month's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Zenvo has shared images of its Aurora Tur hypercar prior to its debut at Goodwood.
Since its introduction in 2023, the Danish firm has made subtle modifications to the design.
The vehicle is powered by a 1,250 hp quad-turbo V12, augmented with hybrid technology.
Zenvo has been producing supercars for over 15 years; however, this year, they began crafting cars that captivate as much with their aesthetics as with their performance. The company has unveiled images of the new Aurora Tur in anticipation of its showcase at this month’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and it is as visually appealing as anything currently produced by Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren.
If you're curious about the attention surrounding a car that made its debut in 2023, it's because Zenvo is only now commencing production of the winged Aurora Agil and the more street-oriented Tur version. The images of the Tur in its final production form show some minor design adjustments since our initial viewing, including added bodywork beneath the headlights and daytime running lights.
Additionally, there are modifications to the airflow around the doors, and Zenvo seems to have removed some vents from the rear deck, though distinguishing these changes requires a keen eye. We're fine with this, as the company's previous models, the ST1, TS1, and TSR supercars, while fast, were not particularly striking, and the Tur marked an exciting evolution for the brand when we first encountered it a few years back.
Both the Agil and Tur are equipped with the same quad-turbo, 6.6-liter V12 engine that revs up to 9,800 rpm, producing 1,250 hp (932 kW/1,267 PS). They also incorporate hybrid assistance, but while the lightweight, rear-wheel-drive Agil relies on a single electric motor at the rear, raising total power to 1,450 hp (1,081 kW / 1,470 PS), the Tur features two motors at the front axle, boosting output to 1,850 hp (1,380 kW / 1,876 PS).
The Agil, with its impressive aerodynamic package that generates 1,940 lbs (880 kg) of downforce at 155 mph (250 km/h), accelerates to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 227 mph (365 km/h). In contrast, the low-drag, more powerful Tur – meaning "Touring" in Danish – reduces the 62 mph time to 2.3 seconds and raises the maximum speed to 280 mph (450 km/h).
Zenvo plans to produce fifty units of each model at its headquarters in Præstø. While no pricing details have been disclosed, it’s reasonable to expect them to carry six-figure price tags, as the company notes it's developing a smaller hypercar projected to cost $2 million. We have included the 2023 images of the Aurora Tur in a gallery below. How many changes can you identify?
