The suspect who has now been arrested claims he was on a mission to deliver classified documents to the CIA.

Police apprehended the carjacking suspect soon after he reportedly left his identification at the dealership.

This incident occurred at the same dealership where he allegedly brandished a gun and stole a Mustang.

According to the suspect, in an interview with reporters, he said he was delivering classified documents to the CIA to save America.

Selling cars can be quite challenging, but it turned particularly perilous for a salesman in Texas. A potential customer expressed interest in test driving a new Ford Mustang, prompting the salesman to secure the driver's ID. However, just before starting the test drive, the customer reportedly pulled a gun on the salesman and drove off alone. They seemingly overlooked the fact that the dealership still possessed the ID, and law enforcement quickly intervened shortly after.

The incident occurred on June 20 around 2:00 PM in Jasper County, Texas, an area located about 115 miles northeast of Houston and not densely populated. The bright white Mustang 5.0, allegedly taken from the dealership, stood out, and police located the vehicle just over 90 minutes later.

Not only did the car have an old license plate that did not match, but it also had unusual writing on the rear window that appeared to read “C.I.A. 0087.” This detail is significant as it connects to what the suspect would later share with local news outlets.

When officers stopped the vehicle, the driver, identified as Justin Keith Colley, 38, from Village Mills, Texas, followed their instructions and was taken into custody. He has been charged with aggravated robbery, with additional charges pending.

Colley did provide a statement to local news station KFDM, denying that he used a gun to steal the car. He stated he was “trying to deliver classified intelligence to the CIA… because America is being destroyed, and if something isn’t done soon, America is going to fall.”

Based on his perspective, he might view himself as a hero despite his failure to accomplish his mission. Regardless, it seems he will have time to reflect on this in jail. Officers also discovered a firearm on him. AutoNews was the first to report that Colley had left his license at the dealership.
