Filmmakers are likely to utilize CGI and Paul Walker’s brothers to recreate the character of O’Connor.

During an appearance at the Fuel Fest event in Pomona, California, Vin Diesel shared that the studio requested him to announce the “finale of Fast and Furious [in] April 2027.” He stated that the last chapter will be released “under three conditions.”
A Return to Familiar Streets
“I’ve been listening to my fan base. I’ve been listening to all of you who have requested three things. The first is to bring the franchise back to LA.” This is significant news since the original Fast and Furious was set in Los Angeles, and returning to its roots would be a fitting conclusion.
“The second was to return to the car culture, to street racing,” he continued. Diesel added that his third condition was “reuniting Dom and Brian O’Connor. That is what you’re going to get!” he told the audience.
The late Paul Walker portrayed Brian O’Connor until his passing during the production of the seventh Fast and Furious film. By employing CGI and the involvement of his brothers Cody and Caleb, filmmakers completed Walker’s final scenes. If his character is to return, similar techniques will likely be employed.
While we are eager to see Fast and Furious back in Los Angeles with an emphasis on car culture and street racing, the revival of Walker’s character may spark some controversy. O’Connor’s last scene was in Furious 7, where he shared one last drive with Dominic Toretto, providing an emotional farewell to the character.
