Several C63s are currently on offer across the UK for £90,095, which is significantly cheaper than the price of an M3.

The German manufacturer has reduced the price of the super saloon by 10%.

The C63 S is now considerably less expensive than a comparable BMW M3 Competition.

      Mercedes-AMG might refresh the C63 S next year with a twin-turbo six-cylinder engine.

When did you last encounter someone talking passionately about the current Mercedes-AMG C 63 S on social media or see one of these so-called super sedans driving by? Exactly. The hybrid C 63 S has not managed to uphold the reputation of its predecessors, while the G80 BMW M3 has taken center stage, adhering to proven methods.

However, if you are one of the few genuinely interested in owning the plug-in hybrid C 63 S, this might be the ideal time to act.

In the UK, dealers are practically urging buyers to take these high-performance C-Class sedans off their hands, offering discounts of £9,500 (approximately $12,700 at current exchange rates) directly from the manufacturer. This marks a price reduction of about 10 percent, with many of the available vehicles being Night Edition Premium Plus models, initially priced at £99,595 ($133,700). With the discount applied, you can purchase one for just £90,095 (~$121,000).

To make the offer even more appealing, these cars also include two complimentary services valued at £840 ($1,100). Not keen on purchasing? You can lease one for £979 ($1,300) monthly over 48 months, but you would need a substantial deposit of £15,766 (~$21,100), according to a report from EVO magazine.

Interest in the four-cylinder C63 S has not matched the expectations of Mercedes-AMG, and it is quite evident that they may have acted prematurely in downsizing their most cherished performance model. The model's reception has been so underwhelming that reports suggest Mercedes plans to discontinue the four-cylinder engine in favor of a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six.

While it may not be a V8, the current M3 demonstrates that a six-cylinder engine can still deliver exceptional performance, so we hope AMG can provide an engine as thrilling as BMW’s S58.

Due to the price reductions in the UK, the C 63 S is now much more affordable than the M3 Competition, which starts at around £107,620 (~$144,500) locally. If you’ve been considering the M3 but are concerned about the price, the C 63 S suddenly appears to be a much more appealing choice, even if it’s not exactly what you anticipated.
