This Wild Mustang Exemplifies a Love It or Hate It Build | Carscoops

      Widebody kits can sometimes greatly enhance a performance car's aggressive aesthetic. Yet, there are instances when modifications like flared arches and redesigned fascias may go a bit overboard, which is how we perceive the alterations on this Mustang GT. However, for those who desire to truly stand out, this might be just right for you.

      This standout S550 is outfitted with a widebody kit from Clinched, based in North Carolina. Constructed from ABS plastic, it appears to have drawn inspiration from Liberty Walk's designs, featuring bold front and rear flared fenders that seem to be directly riveted or secured to the original quarter panels.

      Doesn’t it seem reminiscent of Liberty Walk's builds?

      Each arch is approximately four inches wider than the stock version, altering the vehicle's stance and lending it a much fiercer appearance. The Clinched kit also integrates a more pronounced front splitter, appearing to attach to the original bumper. We would be quite anxious about scraping it while driving this Mustang, but there is no mistaking this Ford for any other vehicle.

      The kit comes with new side skirts, and the car has been lowered with an upgraded suspension, resting on specially made white ESR wheels. The wrap complements the bold body kit in a striking manner.

      The wrap, courtesy of Inozetek, is called Pearl Urban Bamboo. It displays a light greenish hue that leans towards turquoise; however, when illuminated by sunlight, it produces a golden shimmer that resembles a car dipped in highlighter fluid.

      Divisive design or not, this Mustang is a dream for its owner.

      Whether you love it or hate it, this car is truly one of a kind. The owner proudly calls it his dream Mustang, and that is what truly matters. Regardless of personal taste, Clinched’s creation clearly shows its intent to stand out, and it certainly achieves that.
