Brabus elevates its passion for luxury with a new private island venture in the Middle East.
Brabus Island is an upcoming luxury real estate development in Abu Dhabi, featuring 450 upscale residences, which will include both high-rise apartments and villas. Prices for these homes will start at $790,000 and can go up to $7.3 million, with the initial handovers anticipated in early 2028.
Brabus has become synonymous with luxury vehicle modifications, transforming Mercedes, AMG, and Smart models into extraordinarily powerful vehicles, and also providing customized boats, motorcycles, and motorhomes. Now, however, the German brand is expanding into the luxury real estate market with the launch of its own private island in the Middle East.
Situated in the Al Seef District of Abu Dhabi, this island not only offers beautiful beaches but is conveniently located near the city center and international airport, with Dubai just an hour's drive away. Spanning 100,000 square meters (approximately 1.08 million square feet), it is slightly larger than California's notorious Alcatraz. There is currently no information on whether the island will include a prison block for overzealous visitors.
An Opulent Retreat for the Wealthy
Once completed, Brabus Island will offer 450 luxury homes, comprised of 350 apartments in four high-rise towers and 100 custom villas. The apartments will feature two, three, or four bedrooms, with sizes ranging from 107 to 456 square meters (1,152 to 4,908 square feet). The villas will be even more lavish, with some boasting private pools and direct beach access.
Each residence will be customizable, allowing owners to select from various design themes inspired by the interiors of Brabus Masterpiece vehicles, including options like Black and Bold, White Bliss, and Gray Haven, all reflecting the company’s signature style. If you've ever wanted your home to showcase your affinity for a heavily modified car, this is your chance.
Anticipate a Fully “Brabusized” Lifestyle
As stated by the automotive tuners-turned-real-estate developers, the island is designed for those who not only wish to drive a Brabus vehicle but also want to embrace the complete “Brabusized” lifestyle. The project is a partnership with Cosmo, a subsidiary of the UAE-based developer Reportage Properties.
Construction is set to begin this summer, with the first villa and apartment handovers expected in early 2028. For prospective buyers, prices start at €700,000 ($790,400) for an apartment, while a beach villa may cost around €6.5 million ($7.34 million).
It’s reasonable to expect that anyone investing in a property on Brabus Island will likely own at least one Brabus-modified vehicle. Hopefully, the island's planners have considered the parking arrangements, as attempting to fit a Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6 into the central roundabout could result in significant traffic congestion. Additionally, Brabus boats will have a designated marina to prevent any nautical disarray.
Constantin Buschmann, CEO of Brabus, expressed: “Brabus Island is an outstanding milestone and a natural evolution. For nearly five decades, Brabus has produced items that impact people—emotionally, viscerally, and physically. But this is something different. For the first time, we’re not merely crafting vehicles for a lifestyle—we’re creating the lifestyle itself. Brabus Island represents an exciting and significant design opportunity, and Abu Dhabi is the perfect location for it.”
