There are many low-mileage Cybertrucks available, and although most sellers are experiencing significant losses compared to the MSRP, there are a few exceptions, which mostly confirm the trend.

      Recently, a particularly well-equipped and modified unit changed hands for $78,000 on Cars & Bids. At first glance, this is a strong outcome for the seller, especially considering a brand-new Cybertruck Dual-Motor AWD can be purchased directly from Tesla for just over $72,000 after applying the $7,500 federal EV tax credit.

      So, what accounts for the higher sale price of this Cybertruck? It features multiple tasteful (and expensive for the seller) modifications that caught the attention of many interested bidders. To begin with, the controversial stainless steel panels have been covered with a satin black paint protection film, significantly altering the appearance of the Tesla. This modification likely cost the seller between $3,000 and $5,000.

      In addition, it sports an LED light bar on the roof, aftermarket running boards, official Tesla roof bars, mud flaps, and unique cladding on the tailgate. It even comes with the optional $2,975 Tesla CyberTent, making it suitable for camping trips—as long as you're not too far from a charger.

      Considerable changes have been made to the interior as well. The central infotainment screen is now mounted on a swivel, allowing it to be angled towards the driver.
