      This classic Oldsmobile is a fully equipped Ninety-Eight Regency Brougham.

      When it was first sold in 2016, it had only been driven for 1,600 miles.

      The luxurious sedan is powered by a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine.

      

      Even though Oldsmobile ceased operations over twenty years ago, the brand’s legacy persists through numerous existing models found across the nation. One such model is this captivating 1986 Ninety-Eight, which is currently available for $12,900. While this may seem like a high price for an Oldsmobile from the mid-80s, this particular vehicle resembles a genuine time capsule, seemingly cared for with a level of attention typically reserved for items in a museum.

      

      

      This 1986 version is the Regency Brougham. At that time, the Ninety-Eight was Oldsmobile’s premier luxury sedan, with the Regency Brougham trim positioned centrally in the lineup, originally priced just above $18,000. This specific car was bought new by George Berejik, an Oldsmobile dealer who ran his dealership in Massachusetts for three decades.

      Throughout most of its first thirty years, the car was kept in Berejik’s private collection and used very little. It was eventually sold to its first retail owner in 2016, showing an astonishing 1,600 miles (2,574 km) on the odometer.

      

      

      

      

      By the time it changed ownership again in 2021, the mileage had risen to 3,135 miles (5,045 km). The current seller has utilized the vehicle somewhat more, increasing the total to 24,800 miles (39,900 km).

      

      

      

      Coated in Medium Blue Metallic, the exterior paint has remained in excellent condition, demonstrating how well the car has been maintained. Inside, the blue leather interior appears just as impressive, showing minimal wear despite the car’s close to four decades of age. This vehicle is currently listed by Orphan Car Garage in Massachusetts, which notes that while the original Bose sound system has been replaced with a Kenwood unit, this alteration does not significantly detract from the vintage appeal.
