The DBR22 is equipped with a 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine that produces 705 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque.
It is painted in the same green hue as Aston Martin's Formula 1 race car.
The dashboard has been signed by two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso.
Aston Martin introduced the DBR22 in 2022 to commemorate its Q by Aston Martin customization division. Initially perceived as a unique concept, the British manufacturer later decided to produce the DBR22, with only 22 units made for its most elite clientele. One of these cars is set to be auctioned this week, with an estimated sale price ranging between €1.9 million ($2.1 million) and €2.1 million ($2.39 million).
Aston Martin has released so many limited-edition models in recent years that keeping track of them is almost unfeasible. Notable examples include the V12 Speedster, Victor, Valiant, and Valour, but we believe the DBR22 surpasses them all in aesthetics. It draws design inspiration from iconic models such as the Aston Martin DBR1 and DB3S, merging classic design features with contemporary style.

This particular DBR22 left Aston's British facility on December 14, 2023, and features a bespoke Aston Martin Racing Green 2022/23 paint finish, mirroring the color used by Aston Martin during the 2022 and 2023 F1 seasons. The exterior also boasts numerous exposed carbon fiber details, black wheels, and lime green accents.
Despite facing challenges in the past decade, Aston Martin continues to excel at producing stunning vehicles. The DBR22 is a prime example of this. No matter the angle—front, side, or rear—it exudes spectacular beauty.

The interior is equally magnificent, finished in Forest Green leather with AMR Line contrast stitching. It features abundant exposed carbon fiber elements, black Alcantara on the steering wheel, and Fernando Alonso's signature on the dashboard. It’s no surprise that it has been driven only 177 km (110 miles).
Under the hood, the DBR22 is powered by a 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, generating an impressive 705 horsepower and 555 lb-ft (752 Nm) of torque. It comes with an eight-speed transmission that transfers power to the rear wheels.
RM Sotheby’s is auctioning this unique Aston Martin, noting that the original owner invested an additional €110,000 (approximately $125,000 at current exchange rates) on customization options. If you’re interested in acquiring a piece of Aston Martin's exclusivity, bidding for this exceptional DBR22 will open later this week.
