Cadillac is teaming up with three upscale restaurants to offer dining experiences in the electric Escalade.
The "Cadillac of Reservations" concept was recently introduced in New York City and will expand to other locations.
Later this month, the unique program will move to Beverly Hills, followed by Miami.
Luxury automobile manufacturers have long sought to transform their vehicles into lifestyle symbols, and Cadillac is fully embracing this idea with a dining experience that prioritizes luxury over mere transportation. The all-electric Escalade IQ is already among the most opulent SUVs available, and Cadillac aims to highlight just how lavish it truly is.

To achieve this, the brand is broadening its "Cadillac of Reservations" experience, which features an upscale dinner served in the backseat of the IQ.
Most people have likely only eaten fast food while in their cars, but Cadillac doesn’t envision customers enjoying a Big Mac. Instead, it has partnered with high-end eateries in Beverly Hills, Miami, and San Francisco to offer five-course meals served on the IQ’s foldable tray tables.
While it may seem like an unusual concept, there is something enticing about savoring a gourmet meal in the back of a Cadillac SUV, with the seats reclined, the massage and heating features activated, and the AKG 40-speaker sound system playing a specialized song for each course. It certainly offers more privacy than dining in a crowded restaurant.
The Cadillac of Reservations experience initially debuted in New York City at COQODAQ, where the restaurant's popular signature fried dish was featured. On April 24, 25, and 26, the experience will transition to Beverly Hills, hosted by La Dolce Vita, an Italian-American restaurant favored by Hollywood celebrities. There will only be three seatings each evening for two-person parties, with reservations available through Resy.com later this month.
Next Stops: Miami and San Francisco
After Beverly Hills, the mobile dining experience will move to Miami in early summer, partnering with COTE, a restaurant that combines Korean barbecue with American steakhouse traditions. The tour will conclude in late summer in San Francisco with State Bird Provisions, which will take on the backseat culinary responsibilities. This restaurant is known for its adventurous and modern American cuisine.
While the Cadillac Escalade IQ is ideal for offering a luxurious dining experience, the upcoming Escalade IQL may prove even better, as it is 4.2 inches (107 mm) longer than the standard version.
If you’re intrigued—and honestly, who wouldn’t be a bit curious about enjoying a five-course meal in an electric SUV—here’s when you can make a reservation:
