Genesis G90 Coupe and Convertible Are Exceedingly Stunning for This World | Carscoops

      Genesis has introduced two stylish two-door concepts rooted in the G90 at the Seoul Mobility Show.

      These concepts draw design elements from previous Genesis X, Speedium, and Convertible studies.

      However, the brand has yet to confirm any plans for production, leaving these eye-catching coupes as mere design exercises.

      Genesis is well-known for its stunning concept cars, and at the Seoul Mobility Show, it revealed two more. Labeled the X Gran Coupe Concept and X Gran Convertible Concept, they are both derived from the G90 but come with two doors and drastically reimagined exteriors.

      These models share similarities with the X, X Speedium, and X Convertible Concepts created by Genesis in recent years, although they are somewhat less dramatic. Each vehicle showcases the brand's recognizable Two-Line headlights and beautiful 3D front grilles. They embody a blend of athleticism and elegance, prompting a desire for them to become actual production vehicles. Unfortunately, Genesis has not provided any information regarding their potential availability.

      The X Gran Coupe and X Gran Convertible feature more sharply sloped windshields and lower rooflines compared to the G90. The brand’s designers have also broadened the fenders, elevated the beltlines, and equipped both vehicles with stunning wheels. The rear ends of the two concepts are highlighted by twin LED light bars and rectangular exhaust tips.

      Both concepts also boast revamped interiors. The Coupe's interior draws inspiration from Mediterranean olive trees, featuring a mix of green and brown leather. Olive leaf patterns are prevalent across the door panels, accompanied by elaborate quilted stitching. In contrast, the Convertible’s interior is distinctly different, adorned in blue hues inspired by the shades of grapes used for making Cabernet Sauvignon wine.

      The Future Of Luxury Design?

      The two concepts employ the same basic steering wheel as the existing G90, but a third spoke has been included, giving the wheel a more conventional appearance.

      “In the 10 years since our launch, Genesis has dedicated itself to imparting its unique values to over 1.3 million customers globally,” stated Genesis Global Head Mike Song. “We aspire to utilize this moment as a launching point for a new decade, presenting models that encapsulate Genesis’ pursuit of high-performance technology and forward-thinking luxury design.”
