FBI Establishes Tesla Task Force to Track Down Attackers | Carscoops

      The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now focusing on individuals who vandalize Tesla vehicles. An entire task force has been established to address what Donald Trump refers to as domestic terrorism. Tensions are rising among Musk, Trump, and anti-Tesla demonstrators amid the FBI's intensified efforts.

      On Monday, a Tesla dealership in Texas discovered several "incendiary" devices on its property. The FBI, along with local law enforcement, responded swiftly. This incident marks the inception of a new FBI task force dedicated to targeting those who attack Tesla owners and dealerships. This initiative is particularly crucial as Tesla CEO Elon Musk is aligning himself with the government while also leading the DOGE efficiency department.

      Attacks on Tesla vehicles and showrooms have become a frequent occurrence recently. Although Elon Musk may feign ignorance regarding the motives behind these acts, it seems apparent that they are aimed at him and his decisions over the past few months.

      “It has really shocked me that there is this degree of animosity and violence from the Left,” Musk stated during an appearance on Fox News’s Hannity last week. “Tesla is a peaceful company; we’ve never caused any harm. I’ve never caused any harm; I’ve only engaged in productive activities. So, I think we’re seeing some sort of derangement… there appears to be a mental health issue at play because this is nonsensical,” he added.

      Carscoops has reported numerous instances of aggression in this context. It's evident that this issue is not going to resolve itself quickly.

      FBI and Government Response

      Given the situation, it’s not surprising that both Musk and Donald Trump have expressed their views. The US President has classified these actions as domestic terrorism, and under his guidance, the FBI is initiating a task force to locate and punish those responsible for the violence. Trump has even proposed that convicted anti-Tesla protesters be imprisoned in places like El Salvador. The ATF is also collaborating with the FBI on this issue.

      The FBI has been examining the rise in violent incidents directed at Tesla and has recently taken further measures to address and coordinate their response. “This is domestic terrorism. Those accountable will be pursued, apprehended, and held accountable,” stated FBI Director Kash Patel in a recent message.

      “[FBI] Director [Kash] Patel has made it absolutely clear: The FBI will be unwavering in its mission to safeguard the American public,” a representative from the agency told The NY Post. “Violent acts, vandalism, and domestic terrorism — like the recent attacks on Tesla — will be met with the full weight of the law.”

      Attorney General Pamela Bondi confirmed last Thursday that at least three individuals have already been charged for violently attacking Tesla locations.

      Undoubtably, Musk and Trump are keen to vilify and dismantle the #TeslaTakedown movement that is gaining traction globally. This occurs as Musk aligns himself with Trump, raising concerns about civil liberties, hypocrisy, oligarchy, and preferential treatment. Interestingly, it appears that other major governments have not responded as extensively to the protests they are facing.
