The Bureau is urging the public to remain vigilant for questionable activities in proximity to Tesla dealerships or facilities.

The FBI has issued a warning concerning attacks on Tesla vehicles and dealerships.

This alert emphasizes the need for Americans to stay alert, particularly near Tesla showrooms.

The violence stems from the anger of vandals towards CEO Elon Musk’s involvement with DOGE.

Indicating the severity of the assaults against Tesla cars and related properties, the FBI has intervened in the situation. This week, the Bureau released a public alert detailing acts of violence that the government categorizes as domestic terrorism.

In a statement titled ‘Individuals Target Tesla Vehicles and Dealerships Nationwide with Arson, Gunfire, and Vandalism,’ the FBI cautions the American public about recent occurrences in at least nine states in recent months.

“These incidents involve arson, gunfire, and vandalism, including graffiti that expresses complaints against those the offenders view as racists, fascists, or political adversaries,” the alert explains. “These criminal acts seem to have been carried out by individuals acting alone, with all known incidents taking place at night.”

The Bureau does not support Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s assertion that the assailants are funded by leftist groups, stating that the vandals are working independently instead of in organized factions. They caution the public to ‘exercise vigilance’ and keep an eye out for suspicious behavior in areas housing Tesla dealerships or facilities like depots, charging stations, and manufacturing plants. The alert encourages anyone who notices a threat against Tesla to reach out to their local FBI field office.

Over the past two months, media reports have frequently depicted incidents of individuals vandalizing Tesla cars, shooting them, and setting them ablaze. Several of the automaker’s dealerships have faced similar assaults.

These attacks are not exclusively directed at Tesla but originate from resentment towards CEO Elon Musk’s role in the new Trump administration. As the head of the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk has been accountable for the job losses of thousands of federal employees.

Last week, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced charges against three individuals for the “violent destruction of Tesla properties” using Molotov cocktails. Around the same time, Musk disclosed that Tesla was activating the camera-based Sentry Mode security system on all parked vehicles to help identify vandals.
